Arrival- Upon arrival we will ask where you would like us to do our work. We require very little space but running water and a working power outlet are necessary for us if you have elected for a "Full Groom" service. If this is the case, we recommend a bathroom as being in a smaller space will help prevent the spread of stray hairs during the blow-drying process. Additionally, we will require two towels. Providing your own towels helps us prevent the spread of feline disease and illness from one home to another.

Once we are set up, we will assess your feline's condition and temperament to decide which services will be possible and how to handle them during their groom. While we are working you are welcome to watch, continue about your day, or check in as desired; we only ask that you refrain from touching your animal, this is for your own safety as animals may behave differently while being groomed.

Grooming- We believe the benefits of professional grooming should outweigh any temporary inconvenience. Rest assured, we will closely monitor your feline's behavior for signs of stress and any other health concerns. If your pet nears their emotional or physical threshold, or what we are doing doesn't seem to be worth it for your feline, we will stop. However, this is not common as we utilize techniques and products designed to minimize stress.

During the grooming service you may hear some low pitched (sad) "meows", this is common during the bathing process. You may hear some hissing, this is common while we are working near your cats' tail, booty, and more sensitive areas. Fear not, this is not a traumatic experience! We often witness or hear back from clients that within a couple of hours their cats are strutting about with renewed confidence. Being kept on a regular schedule will often improve their attitudes towards grooming as well.

As previously mentioned, we do not need you to be present during the time of service, although you are welcome to stay in attendance, or drop in as desired. We only ask that you refrain from touching your pet while we are working, for safety purposes.
